The Finnish Colour Association SVY ry’s annual Iiris Prize has been awarded to our BioColour research project for its significant work in the research and development of sustainable colours.
The Iiris Prize is given in recognition of a work or event where the skilled use of colour has significantly enhanced environmental comfort, provided positive experiences, improved quality of life, or increased safety. The prize can also be awarded for colour research that has substantially deepened knowledge of colour. By granting this recognition, the association aims to highlight the possibilities of colour as a central element in visual experience and environmental design.
The honorary certificate associated with the award will be presented to BioColour at the project’s final seminar at Annala Villa on April 29, 2025.
